House Concerts Are...

Exactly that… A concert in someone’s house.  There are many people that love to entertain and what better way to watch your favorite Musician perform than in an intimate, warm, cozy environment surrounded by other people that love music.  It is also a chance to meet the Artist up close and personal and have them sign the CD you may have purchased at the show!

The performer:  Is compensated by YOU the listener.  An average ticket price is $15.  ALL proceeds go directly to the performer.  You can listen to their music on line to decide if they are your style or not.  Go to my website to find the Artist link to their website.  Every room is unique, reflecting the tastes & personalities of the hosts.

For You to Share…  you can count on an assortment of desserts and appetizers since part of your contribution to the concert is to bring a plate of “what ever your heart desires” to share, and a recipe if you’re willing.  You may also bring a bottle of wine or beer if you would like.  I will provide soft drinks, hot beverages & some sweets.  Also, if you want… bring your slippers!  You will need to take your shoes off at the door.

Ticket Purchase:

There are many fans out there and limited space at my house.  Advance registration and payment is recommended, but you can always email or phone closer to the show date for ticket availability.  You can pay by credit card with PayPal from my website.  Go to sallyjohnsonpresents.org or mail your donation at least 4 days prior to the show to Sally Johnson – 435 West 9th St. Tracy CA 95376 – make checks payable to Sally Johnson.

Mailing List: Please join my mailing list as email IS the form of advertising.  You can also check the local News Paper for information too.

Kids are welcome if they are well behaved and love music.  Some shows are more kid friendly than others.  Please let me know in advance that you are bringing children.

Listening Room – At a “House Concert” the music is the FOCUS of the party.  Chatting can be done at ½ time break or before & after the show.  PLEASE respect the other fans in the room and of course the “STAR OF THE SHOW”.

Handi-cap Access:  There are 3 steps to my front door.  The rest is all one level.  We may have a few strong arms to help you up the steps.  Please call if you will need assistance.
